Our Rates & Policies

Tutoring sessions are one hour in length. . Home-schooled students and adult learners have the option to extend their tutoring sessions up to 3 hours per session.

CURRENT RATES​

$45.00 per one hour - Grades 1 through 12.

 

** An Initial One-Hour Consultation with tutor is FREE!

​FEES

​Payment for tutoring sessions is received on/or before the first session of each month.  Fees shall be paid in full at the beginning of each month for the entire month.

*Rates are subject to change at the discretion of owner/operator of Tyme Matters Tutoring Solutions.

CANCELLATION POLICY

Any cancellation of a regularly scheduled lesson is a paid session.   Rescheduling missed or cancelled lessons must be done in cooperation with the tutor. Makeup sessions, must be completed in the same month the lesson was missed/cancelled.

Twenty-four-hour notice is required to reschedule a regularly scheduled tutoring session that is missed/cancelled.

​

No-shows/ no calls, cancellations, for missed, regularly scheduled lessons, will be considered a paid lesson at the regular rates.

​

When, and if workable, an alternate time and day may be approved by the tutor, during the same month of the missed/cancelled lesson(s).

Tyme Matters Tutoring Solutions does not subscribe to carry-over missed/cancelled tutoring sessions, or carry-overs of pre-paid fees, into a new month.

LATENESS POLICY

The tutor will wait 10 minutes for the student to arrive and will attempt to contact the student/parent during this time.  If the student does not arrive within 10 minutes, the session will be considered a no-show, and regular rates will apply.  If the student is more than 10 minutes late, the tutoring session will continue until the remainder of the pre-scheduled time has ended. Students are expected to arrive on time and to be picked up on time.
